mmmmm, well...I'm Michelle and outside of my life in belfast I'm probably known mostly as the whistle player in Robin Mark's band. I've been very fortunate to travel with him and play my instruments all over the place for the past 10 years. I don't 'travel and play' for a living however. My day job is music therapy and I work mainly with teenagers with mental health issues, and in palliative care with children and adults who are terminally ill and dying. In both these areas, I find I do quite a lot of songwriting; whether it's using lyrics with teenagers as a way of expressing/understanding issues, or with people at the end of life who want to write something to leave behind for their loved ones. Either way, songwriting has become an important part of my daily life, and 'Blossom' has emerged out of that. I hope you enjoy it!
